Strategic transport and land use models within Australia are dominated by the use of software called ‘Cube Voyager’. This tool allows users to build macroscopic regional models to understand large-scale personal travel demands. The transport model essentially provides the congestion and accessibility values to the land-use model. The land-use model then determines where households and fi rms will locate, based on accessibility and other conditions of the zone.
