Having qualified in 1982 in the UK, Dean has a wealth of architectural expertise gained from work in both Europe and Australia, largely in the commercial sector but including some heritage and government projects. Dean currently holds the position of Principal Architect, Building Research & Technical Services (BRATS) in Building Management and Works (WA Department of Finance). The BRATS team provides a range of technical advice and expertise to the state’s program of non-residential building projects and their maintenance.
