Carl is the Head of Environmental, Social and Governance at BGC (Australia) Pty Ltd, one of Australia’s largest home builders that manufactures nearly all products which form part of the construction. He leads the group’s delivery of its ESG Strategy and targets, is workstream lead for sales and acquisitions and leads procurement of the group’s fuels, gases, electricity and waste management contracts.
Prior to this, Carl worked in a variety of State and Commonwealth Government roles, including the Australian Trade Commission, Regional Development and the (then) Sustainable Energy Development Office where he was involved with some of the earliest wind farm and solar projects in Western Australia.
Carl has a Bachelor of Science with first class honours in Natural Resource Management and a Master of Business Administration.
