Exciting Collaboration at WSU–SBEnrc Workshop

Western Sydney University recently hosted an inspiring WSU–SBEnrc Workshop, featuring prominent leaders Professor Dr. Keith Hampson (CEO) and Will Hackney (COO) from the Sustainable Built Environment National Research Centre (SBEnrc), Australia. The event fostered stimulating discussions on industry research and collaboration opportunities within the built environment sector.

A highlight of the workshop was the announcement by Distinguished Professor Brian Falzon, Dean of the School of Engineering, Design and Built Environment, regarding the appointment of Professor Keith Hampson as a Visiting Professor at WSU. This prestigious role signifies a strengthened partnership between SBEnrc and WSU, paving the way for impactful collaboration and innovation.

Srinath Perera presented the Centre for Smart Modern Construction (c4SMC). The workshop set the stage for new ideas, partnerships, and future initiatives. We are excited about the upcoming SBEnrc National Industry Research Workshops in August, which promise to further advance research and development in the sustainable built environment.

We extend our gratitude to all participants, including Vivian Tam, Srinath Perera, Greg Morrison, and Pejman Sharafi, for their contributions to this successful event. Together, we look forward to driving meaningful change in the industry.
